About This Journal

Muthanna Medical Journal (MMJ) is an international peer-reviewed journal published biannually by the College of Medicine, University of Al Muthanna. The Journal provides a suitable media of communication for biomedical researchers all over the world. The Journal welcomes original articles, review articles, case reports, images in clinical practice, and short communications in all fields relevant to medicine.

MMJ that allows free access (Open Access) for both researches and readers to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of articles on any OAI-compliant institutional/subject-based repository.

Muthanna Medical Journal (MMJ) is freely available in both online and print editions. All submission processes and final publication of articles are free of charge (no fee for either submission OR publication).

Muthanna Medical College is responsible for all costs regarding publications in Muthanna Medical Journal. All accepted articles are free of Article Processing Charges (APC).

DOAJ

Muthanna Medical Journal indexing in DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) was launched in 2003 with 300 open access journals. Today, this independent index contains almost 17,500 peer-reviewed, open access journals covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts, and humanities. Open access journals from all countries and in all languages are accepted for indexing.
